Being a few issues behind on my GLC didn’t hurt a bit when I picked this up.  It’s almost Valentiney in it’s story.  Now that inter-corps love is forbidden by the guardians, a few lanterns will test boundaries for the sake of loving each other, the corps, and those who’ve fallen.  Plus, a battle for leadership of currently Sinestroless Sinestro Corps.  The Green Lantern and Corps titles continue to be the best stories in the DCU right now.

While his issue of Nightwing this month felt stale and manufactured, Tomasi’s GLC shows that he really cares for these characters, and while, sure, Johns is clearly The Lead Guardian in the DCU, Tomasi makes a really good lantern.  Probably more of a Sapphire than a Green, though.

Can’t wait for Darkest Night to start, in earnest.
