I don't get it. "Green Lantern should be all about Space Cops", they say. "Less nattering about the coloured Corps, more action", they say. Well, GLC is that book, but it's getting NO love at all. This book has Guy Gardener, John Stewart and a handful of alien Lanterns investigating the murder of an entire planetful of lifeforms, preventing a similar occurrence on a neighbouring world and capturing some powerful ninja types who are apparently responsible. It's good solid action and believable characterisation, there's a palpable threat, a real mystery around the enemy hordes and their motivation and some crisp, clean art with great inking and colouring. This book is exactly what Green Lantern should be. I'm making it my POTW, and would encourage anyone who likes high action drama to pick it up and see for themselves!
