G.I. Joe: COBRA has done what I never thought could be done - it has provided a halfway sensible origin for Golobulus, Cobra-La, and Serpentor. I didn't really pick up on the page with Julius Caesar, Genghis Khan and the rest, but on turning to the next page the lightbulb clicked on immediately. I really like this concept of COBRA as a cult religion; it allows for some of these rather nonsensical concepts from the original series to have a place. I'm also interested in finding out more about the Leonard character; is he simply a chronicler of the Coil mythos, or will he become someone more important in the story? Also, the Coil message ... oddly makes sense. On the art side, J.K. Woodward illustrates beautiful pages telling the story of the Coil and its philosophy; the color and line are just gorgeous. Another great issue in a great series.

Thanks for the kind words.
You’re very welcome, and I hope we’ll see more. I would love to hear about your process.
sometimes I document my work with a camera on a timer and put it up on FB. This particular peice was never published.just a little fanfiction. a little fun.
each photo has some notes under it, so I hope this satisfies your curiosity about the process.
