I’ve been hooked on Jason Aaron’s Ghost Rider so it breaks my heart that this is the last regular issue before the
“Ghost Riders: Heaven’s On Fire” miniseries.

Aaron has been on an hot streak introducing us to a new monster of the week while still keeping the overall story chugging along. This is exactly the type of comic I drool over. Self-contained but entertaining and releviant to the character’s development.

In this issue we are subjected to the horrors of the Skinbender, a freaky
Sailor Moon-ish rip off, who transforms the skin of innocent civilians into nightmarish monstrocities. While I’m not as fond of her as I was of the Highwayman from the last issue, it is still fun to watch new, memorible characters being introduced to the Ghost Rider mythos.

Also, for those of you put off by the cover (like I was) don’t worry since it has absolutly nothing to do with Tony Moore’s incredile interiors.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
