Jason Aaron delivered a great follow up to the first issue of Wolverine: Weapon X. The story takes Logan and a journalist deeper into the Blackguard mystery. Aaron wrote a spot-on Logan: booze-guzzling, country-music-singin', grizzly man. Granted, it is probably easy for Aaron to get into the Logan mindset considering his regular cast of characters are Ghost Rider, Bad Horse, the Punisher and other grim characters with chip on their shoulders. However, that doesn't take away the fact that this is some great writing and plotting.
I realized that there isn't enough content/story to have this a $3.99 book but we do get a bloody fight (so... somewhat better than the first issue). I will still pick up the next issue, especially with the way this issue ends (reminds me of the Punisher waiting for Ma Gnucci's henchmen in the Central Park Zoo).
