The second issue of this new series continues to be interesting after the impressive first issue. It has more of the great interactions among the team members (I love Marvel Boy and Gorilla Man in the 50s), Jimmy Woo's great leadership-at-work, and a look at the Agents' past. Jeff Parker has imbued each team member with unique personality and allowed them to mingle with each other flawlessly. Based on his current work on Agents of Atlas and previous work on Agents mini and Marvel Adventures' Avengers, Parker is a perfect fit for the Avengers books. Give him a run, Marvel!
As for the art, we get more of Pagulayan on the "Present" storyline and Gabriel Hardman on the concurring "1958" storyline. I'm loving Pagulayan as usual. I have never seen Hardman's work before, but I love it! His heavy-ink approach is perfect for the 1950s feel.
Agents of Atlas is the Captain Britain and MI-13 of Dark Reign. Cannot wait for the next issue.
Story/Art/Overall = 5 Tiki Drinks for Marvel Boy out of 5!
