Fury says, “Jesus Fucking Christ Almighty,” and the book comes to a close. If Fury doesn’t read your mind at that moment, you have no soul. You probably don’t have the taste for this book either.

It’s a shame, really, that this book is on it’s way out; because it’s phenomenal. Ennis is the absolute top of his game. The dialogue between a couple in a long dead marriage is biting. Parlov brings us amazing images of characters now 30 years older than their earlier issue counterparts. These people are older and Parlov makes damn sure we’re aware of it.

He beautifully does this in the sag of Fury’s eyes, the gut on Pug and Shirley and in a panel where Hatterly’s bald crown is cut out of panel to focus on his aging facial features. If you’re reading this then you know how amazing it is and if you’re trade waiting expect to be blown away.
