New Avengers #58

I like that Immonen's start on this title coincided with Bendis pushing the story in a more productive direction. After recovering from the Skrulls, then meandering for awhile with a quality, but tangental Dr. Strange tale, it feels nice to get back into the Avengers being center stage, fighting their biggest enemies with tactic and explosive action, and great cliff hangers with the awesome Luke Cage on the line. And, as I alluded to earlier, Immonen's work on this is excellent. His characters are beautiful, his action exciting. For me, he is the perfect artist for this book.
