  1. I think that you are bringing too much of your own baggage of who Lois Lane is.  This is a different universe, maybe Lois does not act like that here.

  2. I totally agree with your review. Also, the art was distracting, what with Lois’s dress barely being there and all. I’m not opposed to that sort of thing, but here it was just out of place.

  3. @MisterJ Maybe so. I’m nothing without my baggage 🙂

I did consider that different universe angle. That b/c there’s no Superman in the Flashpoint universe (maybe?) or rather that b/c Lois and Clark never worked together she never became the hard nose, courageous reporter we’re familiar with (somewhere a feminist is screaming).
It’s plausible but I’m not sure that explanation is b/c Abnett and Lanning wrote in the gaps for me the fill in or b/c their story had holes and I filled them in myself.

  4. @Smasher  That is fair enough.  I certainly saw the holes too, and I just went with the idea that DnA has been pretty damn good at story telling, so it will be explained later, or it won’t be important to the story.

  5. @Smasher  Maybe Lois should actually be tougher, and more hard-nosed, since there’s no Superman around to save her when she gets in trouble.

  6. Or she’s stuck covering fashion because she doesn’t get the big Superman scoop early on which launches her career?
