As a mostly Marvel guy, I never got into Flash.  He wasn’t being written well when I first got into comics.  And when I started reading every comic I could get my hand on a couple of years ago, he still wasn’t being written well.  I thought he was an excellent background character in stories like New Frontier, but I didn’t really care about him.

Johns changed all that with his Final Crisis: Rogue’s Revenge story.  ANd he doesn’t disappoint with his Flash Rebirth.  I”m going to have to go back and pick up old issues of Flash now and get caught up on some of his history.  Anyone have any favorite stories that I should check out?

    I got my hands on Johns’ previous run on the Flash. I’m mostly enjoying it but I tune out when Flash describes his powers as he’s using them. It’s mostly good though.

    Now I’m even more excited for new comics tomorrow! Hope our tastes are alike. 🙂

    I would recommend pretty much all of Johns’ Flash run, especially anything that involves the Rogues.

    As another Marvel-heavy reader, I would recommend Green Lantern Rebirth (which benefited from stronger art than this issue as well).

    @ coltrane:  Thank you.  I love Green Lantern Rebirth.  I’m doing a big Green Lantern readathon once I finish my Batman prohect (reading all the modern Batman stories is some semblance of chronological order).

    Basically the entire Johns run is stellar. Nix that. The entire run is stellar.

    Do not miss an issue my friend. Some of my personal favorites involve stand alone issues with certain rogues.

    Johns spent alot of time and effort to give these goofs credibility and depth.

    Take the time. It’s all good.
