First of all, I could care less that this is a Final Crisis crossover. With Renee Montoya and Crispus Allen in it, I would read it regardless. I am so glad that they are still being used so well so long after Gotham Central, one of the best series ever written in the batman universe. The biblical parallels ( wow, in a comic?) are handled very well; vandal savage as Kain and the Spectre giving him his mark. so this all about revenge. All I can say is I hope Crispus stays "alive" as the Spectre's host, but I'm not holding my breath.
