Next Issue: The Human Flame Dies?! No!! The Human Flame kicks ass! This guy has been kicking some serious ass for going on six straight issues now and they are just going to kill him off in the end?! No way!! They can't do that to the Human Flame! He is the coolest bad guy in the DC Universe right now!
Just imagine the potential here. Him and Firefly could team up and cause all sorts of problems in Gotham. The Human Flame would so fit in in a crossover with Secret Six, if not actually join the team. Everybody in the Justice League hates his guts so he is already an enemy to everyone of those main characters. They could have this guy all over the DC Universe! He just fits DC perfectly, no matter what book you put him in. I could see this guy up against Batman, Superman, Supergirl, Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Woman, etc. The fucking works! Please don't kill this guy, DC?!
The artwork in this issue seemed a little sloppy in a few panels. No big deal though. It seemed like the story didn't really seem to get going again until I was halfway through the thing, but I haven't exactly had time to reread the entire arc so far just yesterday. I'm sure this entire story would be a blast to own in trade just to pull out when you need something easy to jump into.
Although this issue felt a little bit loose compared to the first four, I couldn't find any good reason to not enjoy reading it just as much. Every arc always has a filler issue, and when you aren't paying $4 for it, it isn't that big of a deal.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 3 - Good

I’m enjoying this series, too. Regardless of if they kill him or not, I hope the last issue is as strong as the first 5.
