Wow this is just a great issue. I really didn't think I got hit in the gut as much as last issue of FF, but goddamn the sumofabitch did it again this week. What kind of words on the script did Hickman tell Dragotta during the Thor, Hulk, and Thing scene. You really saw such pure emotional rage and grief from the Thing. Between that scene and the previous scene where the kids are planning on what to do and you feel the eeriness when Val decides to go dark and change the direction was really ominous you know that the relaunch of this book is really kickstarting the relevance to Marvel's first family from the back bench to being up front and center. I really hope that more people jump on this book soon because this is something that you have to read for the long haul because Hickman is a great long term scripter. At this point a DCBS spot would be great because people who haven't been reading FF needs to go back and get the trades that collect Hickman's issues up till now. As the epilogue that closes out this volume of FF states there is so many stories that are going to come back and slam people with some awesome stories. Oh before I forget, Reed is really going to eff up the negative zone. He's coming and hell is coming with him!!!
