I write reviews occasionally on and off. They never get read but eh its ok im not worried. This is a great Fantastic Four issue. I am loving Hickmans run on it. He makes everything seem all awesomely scientific and just so fun. I lov ethe way he writes Johnny and ben. The first few pages had me laughing out loud. Most of the story had no dialogue (like a great Ultimate Spiderman Issue…) and it was great to see Eagleshams artwork. I loved Eaglesham when he was on JSA and Fantastic Four seems like a great book for him. Im on board with Hickman and Eaglesham

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. I feel the same. Eaglesham’s art grabbed me when I first glimpsed a preview. His very retro imaging of Reed Richards as a more muscular adventurer type was a nice departure. Hickman’s scripts are awesome and the fact he used Millar’s arc in his continuity was beyond brave.

FF is worthy of the cover price and following, there is a Santa Claus!

  2. this was the first fantastic four issue i have read in a looooong time, but i loved the cover and went through it in the store so i had to get it for the art plus hickman has not done me wrong yet. It was Excellent once I read it, Sue was cool , she was all like Im Sue Storm bitch you better recognize!!!Word.

  3. I just read it!

  4. If you listen to the end of the podcast backwards, you can here Conor Kilpatrick chant "Don’t read rayclark’s reviews…"  That’s why no one reads ’em.  Subliminal programming.

Seriously, you nail it with your comment "awesomely scientific and just so fun!"
