I wanted to like this comic. I know it’s in the middle of Hickman’s run but I was interested in trying it out. The idea of Franklin’s Birthday party could be a lot of fun. This probably was the most boring Birthday party I could ever witness. It doesn’t help that you have some of the worst art in a Marvel book this year. Seriously who is this Neil Edwards and why did he replace Eaglesham for this issue?

I think I’m just going to wait for trade (PERIOD) on this series. Cause this was just not a fun time to read at all. I loved the Dark Reign mini Hickman did earlier and I still think he’s the right man for the job. But sadly there is just nothing worthwhile to enjoy with this issue.
