This is getting better and better.
Many people have criticised the first act, and as my comic book guy pointed out, because of many plot absurdities, like how could Cap defeat that many heroes, and why do they miraculously wake up, just the moment the FF arrive.

You know what, I didn't really care, its a comic right? The heroes wanna wake up ? I don't care, it was epic. So I stuck with the book and man is this starting. Having read in I-don't-know-wich-issue-of-Wizard that all the Millarverse was tied together (1985, Old Man Logan, and FF), it got me even more excited with the book. I just love the characters.

See, I think this is more a character book than a whatever-else book. Those defenders are just so damn intriguing, and getting to see more of them in this issue was the sh---, and what GALACTUS??? I feel that this run (16 issues, don't forget) is gonna get better and better, and I actually feel bad for those who stopped picking it. Because I think this is going to pay off when we see the bigger picture, because, right now, we are just starting to leave the tip of the iceberg. And that's why I enjoyed this one so much. I'm not like the expert, but I know what counts when reading a comic ; being thrilled and entertained.
The Millar crossover going on this summer is by far my favorite this summer, and if this book delivers on the epic scale it promises, then, man, I'm all there untill the end.
