Oh gosh, golly gee. This issue just oozes with mood and setting as NYC is buried under the gloaming of Mister Dark. The embodiment of fear haunts the Fables and all who have ever come in contact with them. The art is a fill-in artist who does several absolutely marvelous layouts and designs, though with a one or two small hiccups which I do forgive. The North Wind stands at second to Totenkiner as she prepares to face one of the fundamental forces of reality in what, on the surface, seems to be an effort to save the world. I suspect subterfuge on her part, I suspect that she is making a play to take his power and transform herself into the embodiment of myth or magic. I absolutely cannot wait to see in issue 100.
