When we last saw Emp, she was consoling a distraught Sista Spooky, who’d just lost the love of her life, the enigmatic Mindf***, in the aftermath of a disastrous attempt to bring in Willy Pete … oh, never mind: this book is Fucking Awesome.

God damn if Adam Warren didn’t hit another home run. The story continues to develop. Plot lines move forward with plenty of teasers of great things to come (especially with Ninjette. Whoo boy, is the shit going to come down on her). And best of all, Emp is getting more and more competent as a superhero – although she might not yet fully believe it. Screw what the rest of the Suprahuman community thinks (and the whole supra-gencia, for that matter, Ms. Powers is a Hero, faulty supersuit or not.

Incredible, dynamic art and one hell of a story. Just go get this.
