The second issue of this series did not really do much in terms of building tension and interest for me. The end of the issue was pretty telegraphed, and the story could be played out in a more interesting way. Although you feel bad for the guy because his dad is a maniacal scum bag, there isn’t anything to make you relate to the main character in the story. To much time in this character’s head has made this issue a little melodramatic for my taste. I would give the writing a 2.5, but there is no rating for that.
