Jay Faerber continues to bring the funk and the noise.  This was one of the strongest issues of Dynamo 5 in a long time, and that’s saying something for this book, considering almost every issue is a homerun.  This issue had the right mixture of everything.  It advanced the plot, had some great action, superb character moments, and the right amount of humor.  I love the villain that Faerber introduced in this issue as her villainous name reflects some of her more pointed assets.  What was also strong about the issue is that it ends on a great cliff hanger with several of the plot threads still dangling.  This issue was just plain fun, and I can’t wait to see where the story is going.

Asar’s art, as usual, is nothing short of awesome.  The issue is brilliantly paced with dynamic panels and fluid storytelling.  The action scenes are spot on and the character moments are there as well.  It’s just a completely wonderful visual experience, and I’m so glad that he is drawing this book.
