Five pages of expository narration boxes to explain a story that’s in its third issue seems a tad excessive.  In fact, this whole issue slogs through the story in cement galoshes.  It’s not trite, it’s just…boring.  I think if this six issue mini was crammed into one double-sized annual, it would have been perfect.  But there’s not enough story points to keep this series interesting.  And the art looks like like it was made during those first five months of Dark Reign, when all of Marvel was dipped in Henna, and left in the sun too long.
