I have loved this series from the very beginning. Keith Giffen has made it a point throughout this series to show that the Doom Patrol are a family, a dysfunctional family, but still a family. Dr. Caulder brought together a group of freaks who had no where else to go and mentally abuses them into staying with him. But through his abuse, the group has formed a bond that you rarely see in superhero comics. JLA and Avengers have members come and go, but Doom Patrol is at his core always Robotman, Negative Man, and Elasti-Girl. I will read this book as long as Giffen keeps giving me this great group dynamic, and Matthew Clark keeps drawing it.
