This book is not for me. After reading two issues the story is bland, predictable and not entirely unlike a bad 70’s action movie. There are hurdles and dangers that pop up randomly, without flow or rhythm. None of the characters gets enough time on screen or attention to development to make me care about them. Two issues in we have had two action sequences and nothing to anchor me to the characters. The dialog is cheap, trite and bland – lacking any meaningful insight into the characters’ emotions or intentions.

The art is static and bland. Several panels have characters posed in zombie-like stances that lack any sense of life or interplay with their environment. Perspective is often off. One panel early ion the book features two characters escaping from the water, in one panel they are posed exactly the same as though it were some sort of synchronized swimming competition.

Consider the marriage of myself and this book annulled.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 1 - Poor
