Every other writer who has written a Dick Grayson as Batman story since Grayson took over sometime ago has been about 11 times better then this issue.  Morrison, Dini, Winnick, Benson, Daniel, ALL OF THEM.  I just didn’t find one thing that happened in this issue the slightest bit interesting.  The artwork isn’t terrible, but there CERTAINLY is not one single thing to brag about here.

The Huntress and Question second feature also took a turn for the worse.  It went from a pretty interesting story about human trafficking into some crap about Cain and people who have been alive since the beginning of time and BLAH BLAH BLAH.  This story was so much better a while ago, now I just don’t give a shit what happens.  I was only enjoying it because Huntress was in it and she is never too hard on the eyes no matter who is drawing her, I’ve never been too much a fan of The Question, and right now I’m hoping the pair splits up soon.  The Huntress and Manhunter would make a much more interesting team up, maybe they’ll show up in the new volume of Birds Of Prey which should be hitting the racks in the next month or so…

You guys were right, I should’ve dropped this the second I heard Batwoman and Rucka went on a stroll for the hills.  It is as of this very moment in time, April 28th of 2010, at 3:32PM Eastern Time, OFFICIALLY DROPPED.  Bye.

Story: 1 - Poor

  1. I found the story really compelling and really enjoyed the art. I can agree with it was a weaker installment in The Question story, but I’m sticking with this.
