This was equally as good as its predecessor…fantastic!!!  It has beautiful art, and superb writing.  I especially like the villian because she is evil and twisted as hell and constantly keeps that melancholy look on her face.  The action scenes were terrificly drawn and colored.  God!  Everything is so cool about this book.  I really love what I’m seeing with this.  Even if you don’t give a shit about Batman, you should get this book just to see what Rucka and Williams are doing with this story and its characters.

The back up story?  Meh. First part was better than the second.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. I’m finding everything around Batwoman fascinating in terms of both art and story, but Batwoman herself feels a bit boring (also in terms of both art and characterization).  However, I trust Rucka to make her more interesting as the story progresses.

  2. yeah.  I think he’s been more focused on action and developing the villian for right now.

  3. Great review!!!  I finding that I really don’t care about Batwoman but I love Alice.  She is like the Joker and Mad Hatter rolled into one.

  4. Yeah, you’ve voiced your love for devious villians in the past.  I’m right there with you:)
