There’s no other way around it, after reading possibly the calmest Deadpool issue in history. The jokes are flat and not funny. The action makes no sense and there is little to no character development. You have to understand that even as a Deadpool fanatic, I have standards. If you can’t write a good Deadpool then the character is not interesting. Gischler is a good enough writer and he can certainly plot a story. But when it comes to actually writing the story, he just can’t get it done.
It’s a shame, cause Bong Dazo’s art is really suited perfectly for this series. Maybe down the road Dazo can do a Deadpool mini or take over for Medina on the main series. As it stands, I say you should avoid this series at all costs. Go spend your money on the good Deadpool series by Daniel Way. You’ll thank me when you do.

I loved Cable Vs Deadpool, and am enjoying Daniel Way’s Deadpool and the Sucide Kings mini, but this book is not entertaining to me.
Like TheNextChampion I’ve dropped this. The "voice" of Deadpool just doesn’t sound right.
