There is nothing wrong with this issue of Deadpool, per se.  It doesn’t have horrid art like the last issue, and the writing is back on form.  But, Deadpool and I need some time apart.  The meta gag, and the Bea Arthur fixation were fun for a little while, but it’s time to move on.  Goodbye Deadpool.  Goodbye Daniel Way.

(Also, there was no sexy party with The Avengers, it’s just a story about Deadpool trying to be a good guy in Las Vegas, with some old faces and old plot devices turning up.)

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 3 - Good

  1. I refuse to believe there is no sexy party….

Well at least the cover shows one.

  2. I loved this book…it made me fluent in empathy.

  3. @benjamin74: But was the wow factor there for you? 😉
