My only disappointment with this entire arc is:

Why hasn’t Ron Richards emailed me on this predictament? I mean come on dude, Deadpool is now an X-Man! Look at the cover! He’s finally joined the team and it’s not like that’s going to change anytime soon. Your gonna need my back issues to catch up where Wade Wilson has been.

Okay, joking aside, it is exciting to see Deadpool as an X-Man…..Kinda.

Daniel Way is continuing to show why Deadpool is so not ready to be an X-Man. For one thing, he’s vowed to kill a man linked to Osborn on national tv and has ruined Cyclops reputation. I don’t care much about the latter (you can’t get any lower there Scott), but it is funny to see how misguided Wilson can get. But you really feel bad for him in a way, cause all he wants to do is the right thing. At least I think that’s what he wants to do, it’s hard to tell anymore what he wants. Way also continues with some great jokes in this, especially with the chicken. It’s not as funny as the meat suit or 82,000 pancakes; but that chicken had me in hysterics. I also like how stupid those HAMMER agents are, clearly Osborn does not care about who he hires. It’s a soild issue all around, and that’s really all you can say about this story right now.

Same goes for Paco Medina, who has always done a fantastic job with the series. He hasn’t done all seventeen issues, but for the majority of the time it’s all been great work by the man. If there is one thing I can give him massive kudos for: That’s the best lookin chicken ever.

I’m excited where this story could take us with only one issue left to go. Surely after this experience, Cyclops will be hiring Wilson to be an X-Man. What else could possibly go wrong to ruin this test run?

  1. That was a great looking chicken. I almost thought it was a hallucination or something, because it was so realistic it looked out of place.  The more of an ass Summers looks like it a-okay by me.

  2. @Cat: This arc is not helping my opinion on Cyclops. He still seems to be the confused, and out of place leader of an entire population of mutants. I miss Professor Xavier…

Chicken looke great though, so life like…..It boggles the mind.
