I kinda forget sometimes how insane Deadpool is.

In this issue he uses a mannequin to try and make a woman jealous. Problem is, she has no idea it's a mannequin because she's blind. Second, Deadpool has no problem making the moves on an inanimate object. This kinda makes me realise on why people don't take Wade Wilson as seriously as they should. But let me just say that there's more use to this mannequin then just a joke.

Daniel Way definitely shows his insane side, but also a tactical side as well. He might be considered a reliable leader, but he definitely knows how to use things more then just for laughs. (See Deadpool #4-5 to get another example). This two issue arc was just what this comic needed. A nice break from the Dark Reign craziness and just a simple story. It's a bizarre story but Way mixes in enough humor and action to keep anyone interested. This isn't the best story I have read by any means, but it made me laugh a good amount of times.

If Shawn Crystal could improve his character faces then I'm on board for him as ongoing artist. He has a great cartoony style that is incredibly different to Medina's cartoony style. If a Deadpool cartoon were to happen, this is the style I would like to see. But the faces of his characters are really off putting. Especially with the blind woman that follows the heroes this issue. Man that mouth looks pretty bad. Plus his Deadpool without the mask is pretty ugly too.

I already know where the next arc is going to take us. It's going to make a lot of fans of a certain Marvel group angry. (I'm not talking about Dark Horses's U-Men by the way) With this quick little story meanwhile. It's a nice example on why two issue arcs can work really well. It's fun, funny, and action packed. What more could a Deadpool fan want?
