I found a copy of this at Wal-Mart and got it there, since my retailer did not order any.

The version I bought has Hal Jordan in the same place and same pose, but all other elements on the cover are different. Young Justice is featured on the cover, too.

This all-ages magazine (I hate calling it a “kid’s comic”) is WELL worth the price. It features 3 one-shot stories (all reprints, but all good stories): Young Justice, Green Lantern, and Teen Titans Go (featuring the origin of Beast Boy).

Of the three, I enjoyed the Beast Boy story best, but I liked him a lot in Teen Titans Go, any appearance by The Doom Patrol adds points in my book.

All three stories were good, a was the art for them. The art, as to be expected, harkens to the art from the TV shows the features are from.

There are also write-ups of characters and short “featurettes”,like from
the Saturday morning DC Nation sow. These are pure fun!

If you are a fan of all-ages books, or of the DC Nation shows, this magazine is a must-buy. Reading it made me feel like a kid again. This is the type of magazine I would have LOVED as a kid, and I am dang fond of it as an adult!

Kudos to DC!

By the way: even though Christmas is a long way off, if you have kids to buy for, or want to give a “good work in school”, birthday, etc. gift, buy a few copies of this to have on-hand. It could start a child down the path of a new hobby.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 5 - Excellent
