I got this on Conor’s POW and just really loved the pacing, setting, premise, art, ideas… just really liked it a whole lot. Then I went back and re read Conor’s POW review and I want to read it again. Can’t wait for the next few issues.

I liked the art so much I dug up a copy of Umbrella Academy, and something called De Tales that these two wrote before (De Tales not Umbrella Academy). Just really skilled story telling, art and colors. I really felt like I was in a big south American city — closing the book I got the sense that I had been transplanted to another place some how — not sure how to explain that, but I can say it’s a feeling I rarely get, and only comes from good comics (or good art of any kind I guess.)
