This issue is very close in concept to the most recent issue of Unwritten.  Whereas that comic was an intriguing and unique imagining of how Rudyard Kipling’s writings changed over the years, this was a fairly paint by numbers story about how the main character from issue one influnced Mary Shelley to write Frankenstein.  It’s not bad, but it’s incredibly predictable, and told in a very flat manner.  The plot showing absolutely no respect for the characters that get caught beneath its treads.
