Chances are, if you were a kid during the early nineties you grew up on Disney animation, both on the silver screen and on TV. Darkwing Duck was one of my favorite shows at the time and once I heard there was a comic book and that it didn’t suck, I had to check it out, and it didn’t disappoint. This issue was fantastic. It was the end of the first arc but it had enough great fan moments and a simple enough plot that you could jump on easily. Ian BrillĀ  has taken the property and really brought it back to life. The style is just like the show but James Silvani isn’t just pumping out licensed crap, he’s actually storytelling and using the comic book format to bring Darkwing back to life. If you liked the show, you’ll like this and hopefully a new generation will fall in love with Darkwing just like I did
P.S. hopefully we can get a chip and dales rescue rangers mini series now.
