This was probably my favorite issue of
this miniseries. I absolutely loved 2 parts of this and the third one
was pretty alright on its own. Starting with the weakest, I like how
Cornell writes Namor. I think he gets the right balance between regal
and whiny bitch that pisses and moans. That being said, I think Emma
took too many liberties with him this issue. She didn't show him any
respect, which would have gotten Cap a smack upside the head. Still, I
liked how, though Namor wants to bone Sue, he doesn't feel the need to
broadcast it everywhere. As for the other two stories. Jason Aaron
needs to write a Mystique ongoing series. He handles her better than
anyone I can think of. Heck, I'd buy an ongoing Freedom Force series if
he wrote it. She is just so confident and capable. Great stuff. The
last story was great, just because it shows how Norman's lack of follow
through leads to his downfall.
