Based on the quality of the Shadowland main book, and the recent Daredevil issues, I really wish Diggle would take over writing the panel for panel on this book.  The dialog is too clunky for the plotting.  This issue was a vast improvement over the last few DD issues, but it wasn’t nearly as smoothly menacing as Shadowland #1.  De La Torre’s art is in form with the branding DD has had since Maleev’s run.  It serves this crossover well, but I would love to see someone do at least a few issues in another style, similar to Quesada’s “Parts Of A Hole” or Dave Mack’s “Wake Up”.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. I thought this issue was bit weaker than you, but it was still pretty good overall.  Frankly, I was hoping for a little more fallout from the first Shadowland issue and I hate, hate, hate the role White Tiger is playing.   Bringing Foggy and Dakota back into the mix is nice though.
