Brilliant stuff. Samnee’s depiction of DD, Bullseye, Lady Bullseye, and Ikari are SOOO powerful without the over-rendering of six pack abs, thunder thigh quads etc.

Waid’s run is already a true classic before this issue, but here we finally find out it’s a crippled, locked-in Bullseye who’s been pulling Matt’s strings.

The collapse of the building and toxic waste beneath the combat is almost too deus ex machina, but it still plays well given the tone of the series.

I loved it.

Fave moment:
Bullseye: I have put near them agents I trust.
DD: Really? Well…
{cut to silent panels revealing in sequence: Ant-Man with Foggy; Iron Fist (fucking A! Samnee/Waid please do an Iron Fist book) in the shadows at the law office; Spidey watching the ADA; Black Widow pushing Milla’s wheelchair..}
DD: …so have I.

Then he Chkks the telescoping baton right into Ikari’s throat. Throat punch!

Aw, man this was really good.

I am eagerly awaiting Waid’s next arc.

(Oh, and quick plug for Waid’s Indestructible Hulk, another great book).

And I’m serious about that Iron Fist book you two.
