First I have to say that TFAHM has been the surprise series of the year for me (other than GI Joe Cobra). I have looked forward to each issue more than the last. This issue picks up after the main story has concluded (I won't spoil the ending for those who haven't read it yet) and focuses on the aftermath through two 11 page stores. The Autobot story revolves around Ironhide trying to quit the Autobots and Optimus Prime trying to convince him otherwise. The art for this was wonderfully detailed and conveyed great emotion considering the main characters are robots (in disguise). The Decepticon story revolves around Starscream and his endless struggle to gain leadership over Megatron. It was the BEAUTIFUL art, perfect characterization and intriguing final few pages that did it for me in this half of the issue. Overall, I felt this was not only best Transformers issues that I have read but was also in the running for POW (I haven't finished my stack yet). If you dropped off of this title after #12 because you thought the story was over go back to your LCS and pick this up. This is also a good stand alone issue, even if you didn't read the prior issues (as long as you don't mind spoilers), especially if you are interested in a good character driven Transformers story. Looking forward to the next 3 issues to finish off the series (all told in the same 2 stories - 11 page format). Transform and roll out!!!
