PROS:

-It’s a comic about a cybernetic, cock fighting….Cock.

-Seriously though this is a fun one-shot involving our favorite comic chicken. While this might not be the best issue of the series to date that doesn’t diminish the issue in anyway. There’s no story here, and there’s no real ties to the actual series. This is a random, almost surreal, action set piece involving one bad ass chicken.

-Rob Guillory’s art is just as amazing as ever. While it looks like Guillory didn’t put much background jokes in other issues there are still a lot to love in this issue.

CONS:

-It’s a comic about a cybernetic cock. So I’d say there’s nothing wrong with it.

CONCLUSION:

-If you’ve never read an issue of Chew….well this will probably confuse the fuck out of you. Nevertheless this is a kick ass issue with a lot of laughs and badass moments. You will believe my friends, that a cock can kill….Wait that doesn’t sound right…
