You’re lame excuse that you aren’t reading this series because your LCS didn’t stock enough copies of the first two issues, and you don’t want to jump in during the middle of a series is no longer valid.  This week, the first trade, which includes issues 1-5 came out.  Buy it.  Then buy this issue.  Read them all the way through.  Don’t miss any other issues.  F’reals.

If you have been reading the series, you don’t need me to tell you that it started awesomely, and gets even better with each issue.  That doesn’t change with this issue.  Fantastic artwork with a color pallete startlingly similar to the current Marvel Dark Reign but it’s awesome here.  A dab of homophobia, a touch of racism (they’re traits of a character, not the story), a lot of laughs.  The recipe for awesomeness continues to yield results.  Which are, you know, awesome.
