I've never been a fan of having a fill in
issue in the middle of a story. I especially don't like fill in issues
in the initial storyline. And don't even get me started on having a
fill in storyline in a book that was marketed as a sexy villains book
that focuses on a guy in a green suit. I really have no overall opinion
of Scott Lobdell. He was writing X-Men when I first started reading
comics, so I'll always associate him with 90's X-Men stuff. This issue
wasn't bad. It told a decent Riddler story, though I'd imagine if
Edward was smart enough to figure out it was a different Batman, he'd
be able to figure out it was probably Dick since he knew it was Bruce.
The art was okay. I liked the scenes with Dick a lot as they had a good
feel of grandeur. So for being something that means the book probably
won't maintain any sense of quality, it was fineĀ
