Good stuff. I like this book as a counter point to Astro City. It has all the arc types but is the exact polar opposite. Where some books, like Wanted or Empire were all about the villains winning I don't think we've had a book like this where the peak of the hero community goes flipping nuts. I'm really curious what sent him off. It wasn't the "Jimmy" dying because he did that, and it wasn't him losing his secret identity, because that happened a long time ago. I am positive that Waid has something in store that will just be Oh damn, when they reveal it. Loving the art. It really did a great job of making Silver Age scenerios look intimidating.

Yep, I'd have to agree with everything you've said. I can't wait to find out what that one thing was that sent him off his rocker. At the same time, I'm afraid that there might not be much story left to tell after that, and I kind of hope that this series lasts a long, long time.

I think it's the guy at the baseball game....a long long line of sh&t, but that anonymous guy is what pushed him over the edge.
