Boys Herogasm #1

Well, that is just about the most debauched thing I have ever seen in my life. Seriously, as bad as crossed got, this is just insane. I've seen less fucking and sucking in a John Holmes movie. I understand that Ennis hates capes. I get that, and most of the time when I read The Boys I am face with an admittedly dark, but at least really engaging story. Here, when he's trying to be light, all I'm confronted with is a juvenile power and sex fantasy. The cartooniness of McCrea's art isn't really doing much to dissuade this opinion either. His art always struck me as about a half step up in maturity from the guy in Superbad that was drawing penises (penii?) everywhere. The only time I really liked his work was on Hitman. However that's one title against stuff like Dicks which makes this stuff look like Contract with God.
