If only everyone who’s reading “Fear Itself” was reading “Journey Into Mystery,” I think the former would spell itself out more clearly. Accordingly, Kieron Gillen is doing marvelous work here, delighting in plot and language in a way I’ve not read in a long while. As much as I’m lukewarm to the premise of “Suburban Glamour,” this series makes me want to go read it for more Gillen. There’s so much cleverness imbued into Loki, it’s almost as if this is a new character, and not one who’s 45 years old. Doug Braithwaite is great, but you don’t need me to tell you that.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
