As a Not Superman fan, I’m very pleased that Johns and Rucka and Robinson are writing Supe stories that I’m enjoying.  World of New Krypton and Adventure Comics have been fantastic so far (though the World Of New Krypton Law And Order issue was not my favorite).

While I find Black Lantern Superman less terrifying than Black Lantern Martian Manhunter or Black Lantern Aquaman (or, for that matter, Black Lantern Elongated Man), the way he torments Conner, Clark, Krypto, and Ma Kent is creepy enough to live up to the expectations set up in Johns’s and Tomasi’s books.  And Barrows’s interpretation of how Black Lanterns see things is very well executed (it’s not quite a pun).
