I am not sure why this comic gets so much flak from readers. I know it is a bit over-the-top in both writing and art, and accepting that going in, I enjoy the title for what it is: light entertainment. Flash and Superman show up again, and the 10 year-old comic fan in me likes that. Bane was never a favorite character for me, but I understand and accept his role in the Batman universe. It makes sense that he shows up in this arc. This title, under this creative team, will never offer us a true detective story or anything other than a roller-coaster ride of a comic. Don't expect it to be more than it is: a fun comic. Ok, that all said, I will admit I find the writing to have have some holes in it, and the art seems labored at times. But I am liking this title and feel it will get better once we get the new creative team on-board. (NOTE: This issue is in no way the conclusion to the arc, even though the solicit above says it is.)
