Once again, you can ignore DC’s solicits.  Yes, this *is* a Paul Dini issue, but no, March isn’t on art, and the blurb about what happens in this issue contains none of the characters who actually *are* in the issue.  Apparently, DC doesn’t think too much of this title, as this is the eighth time in eleven issues that their solicitation has been flat out incorrect.

I do think a lot of this title.  There have been a few dips in quality over the run, but this is part two of a really intriguing Damian arc, which itself, hinges on the Humpty Dumpty Christmas story.

Damian has always seemed more interesting to me when he is interacting with kids his own age, such as early on in Morrison’s Batman & Robin, when he was set to rescue a little pig girl, who ended up teaming up with Jason Todd.  He just seems more eager to learn from kids than adults, which intrigues me.

Nguyen’s art works well here (as it often does when he’s on a Batbook), particularly when robin makes his own mask.  It’s just the right balance of cool looking and creepy.
