   I didn’t have much interest in this series beyond Morrison is writing it, but your review made the plot more appealing to me.

   My favorite thing about your review is that the story rating fits the level of praise for the review. It is good and your review doesn’t apologize for it being good.

   Too many reviewers on here state a bunch of negative things and then give the book a 3 or 4. It becomes a forum to nitpick and bitch instead of a review that reflects their overall opinion.

    yeah i agree…..i read too many reviews that tear a book a new one and then give it 4’s and 5’s. I’m old school where a 3=C , C=average. Average isn’t good or bad…its just kinda there.

   I’m a bit confused by the timeline on this book.  If Bruce’s parents were killed in the 40’s, he would be at least 70 years old.  I kept wondering if this was his timeline, another earth or whether the Wayne’s just kept getting murdered generation after generation…

   @glassford–thats the biggest challenge of the DCU…a whole bunch of their cornerstone characters were created in the 30s. Superman landed in Smallville in the 30s and ma and pa kent were already grandparent age. 

   as far as this book though, i kinda sorta think that its not really the past, and more like an alternate timeline…i mean By Bruce going back to caveman times and so on he’s changing the past…in this timeline Bruce’s parents weren’t that good.
