When you have a comic only showing one creator on the title, your in for something. Not saying it’s good or bad, just that you know it won’t be your same old comic book. Last issue Sam Kieth delievered on the art with this arc for Confidential. The story…..eh not so much. Does he change it around for the second issue?

All I can say is: No.

The art is still fan-fucking-tastic to look at like any of Kieth’s work. The first page just hooked me in with an almost realistic take on Batman. I love it how he can make almost anything realistic, but there are little cracks just to show it’s art. The panel layouts are unique, his take on each character changes each panel, basically everything is unique about this comic. Kieth does his own sound effects too, which I always love to see. Basically if your in for a book with some amazing artwork, this is the title to pick up.

The story……eh still pretty ho-hum and boring.
