This issue was filled with nostalgia. Batman fighting criminals with all of the Robins?! Including Jason Todd?! Oh, and that page with all of the Robins standing together and looking into the sky like a poster to join Batman Inc. was awesome. This book was my pick of the week because of pages like these that were drawn by Patrick Gleason. Also the entire issue takes place in broad daylight so John Kalisz, the colorist, really makes the characters literally shine. The story isn't really trying to impress you. I think Tomasi wrote this story just to give this book great looking pages. I thought it was odd and hilarious that Batman has a battle suit under the Batmobile. I noticed that this entire arc has major similarities to The Dark Knight Rises. The numerous branders are similar to the criminals that took over gotham, there were bat symbols burned onto many of gothams buildings, Batman has to fight someone who heavily outmatches him in strength in broad daylight, and Batman has to drop a bomb into the ocean to save Gotham. Coincedence?
