Yes, Doctor Hurt is back!!  I can't wait to see what he has to do with all this domino stuff that has been happening lately.  I'm dying to find out who exactly Oberon Sexton really is as well.  Morrison has me literally DROOLING in interest to find out what exactly Grayson found down in the secret batcaves under the cemetary before Damian (or should I say Deadshot?) hits him in the chest with a shovel. 

If I go totally broke, and I probably will soon, and I can only scrape up enough spare change just to buy one comic book each month, this will definitely be the one I can't live without, especially since it won't be out in softcover for almost two years!!  I absolutely love Irredeemable also but I could leave that one on the rack and take Batman & Robin instead if that's what things come down too, and they probably will soon unless I find a job around this hellhole people call Southern NJ.

Also, I think Andy Clarke is probably the BEST fit for B&R.  Everything is so easy to understand.  I never have to squint or look at the same panel for a three minutes just to make out what happened like I had to with #s four through six.  The arc before this one was much of an improvement but I really feel that Clarke fits the best.  Sure, I know you all are saying, "well what about Frank Quitely, dude?!" but I would much rather read and see Clarke's artwork on time every month then have to sit through the delays just to see if Quitely's stuff which I personally feel is totally overrated.  I have nothing against his art, I just feel as if everything looks wrinkly.  I don't understand why people think wrinkles make characters more vibrant, but I suppose everybody has their own opinions.  Now if there is any artwork out there that is really worth waiting through delays, I think JH Williams definitely fits into that category better.

So anyway, Batman & Robin is an awesome book that just keeps getting better and better.  The plot keeps on getting thicker and thicker with every issue and I would even but the whole series all over again in hardcover if I had $$$ to spend on stuff like that, and hopefully someday I might actually be able to.  Having Grayson fill in as Batman does take away from the timelessness, but what are you going to do?  Cry?
